The owner was a real character – always friendly, attentive and genuinely looking out for us. Breakfast there actually beat what you get at many big hotels, and overall the place felt like a solid value.

Werner runs The Swiss House with a professional, accommodating style and I enjoyed our long chats about all sorts of topics. He's been at it since 1992, but lately it seems the workload has taken the joy out of it, as he handles almost everything himself. Still, the house itself is lovely and I wish him the best.

The staff were genuinely warm, the rooms comfortable and the breakfast felt almost tailor‑made. On top of that, the location couldn't be better.

From the moment we arrived at Patagonia Swiss House until we left, the experience was top‑notch – the owner greeted us like family, gave spot‑on advice for tours, and kept an eye on every detail of our stay. Breakfast was a highlight, with fresh options and even eggs made to order, while the rooms were clean, comfy and the common areas inviting.

The room was spacious enough for three people, the breakfast solid, heating and hot water worked fine, and the owner was quick to respond to any question. Being just 100 m from the Plaza de Armas made the location perfect, though the bathroom lacked a place to put things and the Wi‑Fi dropped for short periods now and then.
