The subway entrance made getting around easy, and after the room upgrade the balcony offered a nice street view; the view does bring a bit of noise, but that’s a trade‑off I accept, and the blanket is thick while the AC should be set lower.

The location was excellent and the staff welcoming, but the shower wasn’t separated from the rest of the bathroom, which was uncomfortable.

The hotel sits on a very scenic street, just a 5‑minute walk from the Sichuan Opera and the metro. Inside the room, a smart toilet greeted us with a smile :-) The tea cups were pretty, and the tea itself was delicious. For breakfast they served salty Tibetan tea. The owners, who appear to be Tibetans, even had traditional outfits ready for photos.

The young woman at reception was charming and made my stay very pleasant with her help. The hotel’s location was perfect. That Tibetan touch and the cosy feel were very relaxing.
