Reception stayed open even late, but the nightclub caused noise, there was no sound isolation, and breakfast was not on time.

I stayed in a pleasant hotel in the modern part of the city, just a 10‑15 minute Yandex ride from all the main sights and the train station. My deluxe king room was huge, with grand wooden furniture and a very comfortable firm bed. The free breakfast was simple but enjoyable—fried eggs, sausage, bread, pastry, tea, and coffee. The gentleman at reception and the lady who served breakfast were both cordial and friendly. A large Korzinka supermarket is about a 15‑minute walk away, and the amazing restaurant T‑Bone is highly recommended. On the downside, the hotel feels detached and impersonal, more like a home for locals and long‑term residents than a tourist spot, and some of the guests gave off a slightly weird vibe. I was placed in a room right next to the breakfast area, a small landing with four tables and a tiny kitchen; if the hotel was full, this could lead to long waits to sit and eat. The area was noisy from the start of breakfast, especially with the lady playing loud music. Finally, the bathroom was laughable: electric sockets in the shower and a toilet in a low alcove that anyone over about 5’5” would have to bend over to use. Overall, it’s recommended for a short stay if nothing closer to the tourist area is available.

The bed was comfortable and the room cozy, so I liked it.

Everything was good: the breakfast was tasty, filling, and varied; the staff were very attentive and polite; the room was clean and cozy. The hotel is located in the European part of the city, next to a grocery store and many cafés. It would be nice to have mosquito nets on the windows.

The hotel is close to the city center and tourist sights, just a 7‑minute walk from the Samarkand train station, and there are many services nearby. The breakfast service was exceptional—I felt like I was eating at home—and the staff were helpful.
