The cabin was comfortable amid the Icelandic horses, the welcome was warm, we saw plenty of wild animals and even spotted a few, and there was little artificial light to watch the northern lights.

We really enjoyed our stay on this farm – it was like a holiday in the countryside. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, and there were plenty of activities to keep us entertained. We even got to see elk up close, which was a real highlight. The only downside was that the sauna wasn't available, but that's probably because it's a bit of a trek to get to. Still, it was a great experience and we would definitely recommend it.

The location is fantastic, and the surroundings are lovely too. However, the house can get quite chilly, and the soundproofing isn't the best.

I was grateful for the staff's help when I had to check in late - they came to assist me and gave me some useful tips about the room and my next day's travel plans. The kettle, pot, and cutlery were a big plus, and the tea was delicious! On the downside, the location isn't ideal, so it's a good idea to book the shuttle bus in advance (it's paid) to avoid taking a taxi. Unfortunately, I tried to catch the bus on the way back but it didn't show up, so I had to take a taxi instead.

The hotel has a charming atmosphere, and there are horses roaming around the property, which is a lovely touch. It's a peaceful and serene place to stay.
