Breakfast changed daily with classic Thai dishes that were delicious, and the staff were enthusiastic and friendly. The room was a simple business hotel; the bathroom was damp and hard to dry, and the ventilation fan sometimes dripped water. The noise from the plane over Niman was obvious, and the bed felt too soft for me.

I returned after a visit two years ago and was delighted to find the quality unchanged; the staff are friendly and go above and beyond to make guests comfortable, and the breakfast is phenomenal with water, snacks, coffee, and tea available 24/7. The neighborhood has plenty of massage parlors, restaurants, cafés, and ice‑cream shops, so if I go back to Chiang Mai I’ll likely stay at BED Nimman again.

The staff’s enthusiasm and smiles added a lot of value; the room was comfortable and clean, and breakfast was superb with an endless supply of bottled water. The room was damp, however.
