Friendly people, a super clean room, a good bed, a nice shower, a generous breakfast, a kitchenette and a balcony – everything was just fine.

The breakfast buffet had a nice selection of cakes, and the staff member was very warm and cheerful. The bed was too firm for me and the blanket felt stiff.

After a serious delay, the accommodation offered a nice solution so we could still arrive after 20:00, and the breakfast was excellent.

I spent one night in apartment room 8 while on a motorbike trip back to the UK, and the parking is located at the rear of the building, out of sight of the road, where I could park under an overhanging part of the building for weather protection even though it wasn’t needed at that moment. The pension shares the building with a café and a mini‑mart, handy if you need provisions. Check‑in starts at 2 pm, when the café opens, where I had coffee and cake – very nice. The room is up a flight of stairs and immaculate, well equipped for a longer stay with a comfortable bed, a settee, a dining table, a small “studio” kitchen (all in one room) that includes a kettle, coffee maker, two‑ring electric hob and fridge, cutlery and crockery, a large wardrobe, and a bathroom with a walk‑in shower, hairdryer, and a TV that only shows German channels. Breakfast runs from 8–10 am, a typical German fare. It was a very pleasant stay with friendly staff. The pension doesn’t serve dinner, so you either cook yourself or visit “Gasthof Zur Post,” about a 5‑minute walk away, where I went for a meal.
