“Comfortable and very welcoming and food was superb”
The staff were excellent, especially the young man who was such a good host. It was pricey.

I visit The Crown multiple times a year; it's a great hotel, very fun, staff friendly, food offers a lovely range of locally sourced fish, etc. Its spot on Georgian Square next to the High Street and near the beach makes it a perfect place to stay. Nothing comes to mind as a drawback.
We booked a great place that promised a terrace, but we ended up without one or a balcony, though the overall vibe was still good.

Amazing food, comfortable beds, and great staff. Afternoon tea and scones were gorgeous. Some noise from people chatting outside, since our room was at the front of the hotel.
