The view of Lake Ashi was beautiful and the breakfast was fantastic. The drain at the foot of the washbasin seemed to have a hole in it, which was a surprise when I stepped on it!

The staff were all friendly and extremely helpful, making the experience pleasant. I didn’t have much time to relax, so next time I’d like to take my time and enjoy some real downtime. It would be nice if there were more local beers to choose from.

The lake near the property offered a beautiful sunset. The building’s age brings a noticeable odor; although the rooms were renovated and fine, many areas still smell. The hot spring also had a chlorine scent.
