The location was initially a concern, but it turned out to be the best part.
The creek is so peaceful and beautiful, we ended up extending our stay.
The food was incredible, proper Swahili cuisine that my mum, who's Kenyan, loved too.

A private balcony offers sea and pool views, and the Superior Double Room includes free Wi‑Fi. The room sleeps two guests on one bed and can accommodate a crib, with a seating area, wardrobe, clothes rack, socket by the bed, fan and hardwood or parquet floors. The en‑suite bathroom provides a bath or shower, towels, free toiletries and toilet paper. Upper‑floor access is by stairs only, and a mosquito net and private entrance complete the amenities.

“Fanstastisk plats”
The location and the peace were fantastic! The menu was a bit simple, but for a couple of days it was okay.
“Bellissimo boutique hotel a contatto con la natura”
Beautiful and intimate boutique hotel on the Mida Creek, in a lovely spot amid mangroves, away from the chaos of Watamu. The staff is extremely kind, the rooms and common areas are tastefully furnished and the restaurant is excellent. They organize private boat excursions for snorkeling and mangrove visits. The boat service to Watamu is efficient. A recommended choice to experience nature’s beauty peacefully. Much better than staying in Watamu, which is still conveniently reachable. In the rooms there were some minor malfunctions in the shower and bathroom, but nothing significant.
“Barefoot luxury”
Barefoot luxury, the amazing staff mean that with 6 rooms it's more like a homestay than big resort, but it's spacious enough that you never feel crowded. Location is globally unique - perfect cover beach, paddle board from shore into the creek. The tidal views never get boring. A world away from the other beach areas nearby. Will return, hopefully many times

Peaceful place, very calm and restorative. Staff sincerely welcoming and very available. A wide range of activities (tours, water sports…) suitable for everyone. Superb restaurant, the chefs are very good.
