“Un discreto appoggio per esplorare Val Cenis”
A good hotel that meets standards in a central spot for Val Cenis. The building is well maintained and pretty, with tasteful décor. The SPA is adequate and cleaning is good. The family run management can be slow and not very attentive. The SPA room is acceptable, but the gym is basically a joke with only one piece of equipment. The price makes you hope for something better.
The location is good and the bedding is comfortable. The kettle in the room didn’t work, which is a pity.

The location is fine. The receptionist gave us no information, we returned at 10 pm and the front door was locked with no one to open it. Because we had no directions we panicked for a moment until we saw other tourists inside, and the sliding door finally opened.
A well‑located hotel with options to eat either at the restaurant or the crêperie. A motorcycle garage is available.

We stayed at the Alpazur hotel in August 2026. The staff at the front desk made us wait several long minutes without even greeting us. The parking advertised in the listing, which was a key factor for us, was inaccessible because “large trucks deliver in the morning” and our car would obstruct them. The spa, another criterion, turned out to be an extra charge and, based on reviews posted the week before our visit, might have been unavailable. The bathroom feels like it belongs to another era: the bathtub has significant enamel wear, the paint on the door frame is unfinished, and there are large mold stains on both the tub and the sink, whose faucet is leaking. The hot and cold water taps are very old and require long waits for water at the correct temperature. This is in stark contrast to the common areas, which appear to have been recently renovated.
