Unfortunately we also had booking overlaps, so when we arrived after a long drive there was no room available. The guests who stayed before us told us they had the same issue and had to stay in a hotel for two days. We spent the first night in a hostel and could move into the house the next day. The only window above the bedrooms had a mosquito net that couldn’t be opened. The mosquito problem was so bad that we couldn’t stay outside after a certain time in the evening. It was warm and I couldn’t sleep because I couldn’t open the window. The host collected extra electricity charges on the last day. The mattresses were so worn that I lay in a hollow in the bed at night. I’m not demanding, but some things in the house need fixing (like the windows) or mattresses replaced. The mosquitoes were so persistent that a fly screen on every window should be mandatory, which wasn’t the case. I didn’t expect much for the price, but I was quite disappointed with this stay
