“Super Jiwa”
Jiwa is definitely a great host, welcoming and quick to address any issue or request, but the proximity to the river makes the environment a bit damp, though it’s not a major problem.
“Absolutely divine but with a bad ending”
The natural surroundings, pool, and on‑time breakfast were solid positives. The room had a bad odor, the Wi‑Fi was dead, and at the end a shady driver tried to force me into buying his car for 350k, while my Grab app listed it for 100k; he kept pushing even after I said no multiple times.
Jiwa, the host, always made sure I felt comfortable and at home. The property and room were gorgeous, a nature paradise, and I’d definitely return to Ubud and choose this spot again because of Jiwa.
“Great value!”
Great spot, excellent bang for buck. Jiwa, who runs the place, was incredibly friendly and helpful!!! Highly recommend.
“마음 편히 쉴 수 있는 곳 A place where you can relax”
The staff were warm and welcoming, and the simple breakfast with fruit was tasty. Hearing Mr. Parig Wa—who’s been at the hotel for 40 years and always smiles—was a highlight. The building is an old mansion, so the structure feels a bit worn, but the friendly people make up for it. I got lost at first because there was no “hotel” sign on the door; the actual hotel is the house opposite the spa, just a few steps up the stairs.
