The owner is super friendly and the dogs are adorable! The cafe/common area is very quiet, which is a relief when everything else is playing music, so it’s nice for downtime. The setup is basic, but that shouldn’t deter you—beds are comfy and the location is great, so I’d definitely come back. The curtains around the bed could use replacement.

The owner and his mom are lovely, and their dogs greeted me at check‑in. It’s a chill spot near Rasta View and the pier, and it feels like you’re in the middle of the jungle even though the beach is only a 5‑minute walk away. The bathrooms and bedrooms were clean.

The place is new and clean, with nice beds and a tidy bathroom, and the owner is cool and easygoing. The grandma who’s part of the furniture and hangs out in the chill area 24/7 ruins the vibe; her attitude makes us uncomfortable, even when she takes my coffee cup half full and shows faces. It would be better to keep her away from guests. A water dispenser would also be useful in a hostel. Without the grandma, it would be a solid 9.0.
