The bedroom was clean and well equipped, and the shower room was fantastic. The entrance hall was smart and clean. The only issue was the keyless entry; trying to figure it out while drunk wasn’t ideal.

Everything was thought of. The accommodation standard was really nice, with large rainfall showers and a good selection of TV channels. The place was very clean and the communal facilities were excellent. Little touches like chocolates on the towels and two bottles of water added to the experience. The location looked a bit industrial but was a short walk to the town centre and far enough out to be quiet. I loved it.

Our 2‑night stay at the Ackroyd House was just perfect: self‑check‑in was straightforward, the room was lovely and comfortable, the air‑con worked well, the bathroom was extremely clean and the shower amazing, the communal kitchen and lounge looked cozy even though we didn’t use them, and free parking was a bonus; it’s the best we’ve stayed at in Halifax and we’ll definitely return – thanks for having us 😊 There was nothing to dislike 👍

We were at an event in the Piece Hall and the location was brilliant, close to places to eat and drink; the joining instructions were simple, the option to pay for parking was appreciated, and the accommodation meets a high standard. No complaints.

I was thrilled with every detail of the stay, from the spotless rooms to the charming little touches, and the location was perfect for my event at the Piece Hall. Nothing could have been better.
