“A very comfortable and accommodating stay, but overpriced for the experience and facilities on offer”
The White Horse offered a very comfortable stay and the staff were friendly and accommodating; we were grateful to check in early so we could prepare for a nearby wedding, which made the day easier. The room itself was comfortable and we enjoyed our overall stay. However, at £279 for one night we felt it was quite expensive for what was included; there’s no spa, our room lacked a bath and faced the car park, and there were no complimentary drinks or small extras that could justify the price. For that rate we expected a slightly more special experience.
