The camera was not dirty, but I think the sheets hadn’t been changed. Everything else was bad.

The people were lovely, the pub was nice, and it’s an iconic place – definitely recommend.

The staff were friendly, but the room was too small.

The staff were amazing, the food was delicious, and we loved the vibe of the old English pubs; the location was perfect for exploring the Cotswolds Way, and dogs were welcome inside!

A quirky pub, and from the pub point of view was exactly what we expected right in the middle of Broadway. Lovely atmosphere in the bar and garden. Staff were very nice. Bed was large and very comfortable. Large bathroom, nice fluffy towels. Sorry about this - I left a note in the room to make sure you noticed: Hiding behind the net curtain, which I opened to close the window, the windowsill in the bedroom had so many dead flies, wasps and cobwebs, plus squashed flies on window panes it was gross. Big very long thick cobweb hanging down about a foot long above wardrobe. Perhaps cleaner is shorter than average? The pile of men's pants to greet guests on the banister by the rooms was there all afternoon. It sort of made the whole thing a bit like staying at an eccentric relatives house, where it's free, so you smile and accept it, which usually I would but the dead flies and broken nights sleep made me grumpy :) Woken up by someone around the landing area with footsteps and doors opening and closing around 2 a.m, if they were trying to do it quietly they didn't succeed, despite the comfy bed I then couldn't go back to sleep . As it was right opposite our room door I presume it was people going to or leaving the private flat entrance directly opposite our door, and above the guest rooms. Left feeling very tired at 8.30 a.m. as there was no point in staying longer - As there was no breakfast included in the substantial room price, and choice of cooked at an extra £25 for us not required, We thought there would be a continental option rather than straight £25 as we just wanted some toast and coffee but that isn't available. No one around, so locked front door of pub and posted key back through letterbox
