“Séjour mitigé avec problèmes à l’arrivée mais emplacement pratique pour l’embarcadère”
The room was spacious with a small balcony that offered a side view of the sea, which I liked. The location was very convenient for walking to the pier heading toward Koh Tonsay (Rabbit Island). Even though there was a booking issue upon arrival, I still managed to get a room, probably because the hotel was almost empty. The check‑in took a while because the receptionist didn’t have my Booking reservation on file, and she didn’t speak much English, making communication hard even with a translator. After checking out, Booking still hadn’t confirmed my reservation status. I didn’t see any pre‑payment on my bank account, so I paid on the spot when leaving. The hotel is far from the city and the beach, so you almost have to rent a scooter or bike to get around; Grab is almost nonexistent at times. I couldn’t use the PassApp because I didn’t have a Cambodian number. The room had mold on the wall at the entrance, likely from an un‑repaired water damage, and there was morning noise from roosters below that I could still hear even with earplugs. Like many Asian hotels, the bathroom lacked a shower tray, a shower base, or a wall, so the floor got wet easily. In my first shower the tap kept running even after I turned the water off. After waiting a few minutes for a delivery, someone came and fixed it in a very rudimentary way by hitting the system to stop the water.
