“Beautiful view and stay”

The view from our second‑floor room at the Lodge was absolutely stunning—rolling hills, mountains, and trees already turning colors, a real treat for a Southern California couple used to concrete. The room felt cozy and rustic, though the decor didn’t match our taste, which was a minor detail. The beds were incredibly comfortable, giving us the best sleep of our trip. Breakfast was simple with muffins, fruit, cereal—enough to grab before a sightseeing day. Overall, a great spot: friendly staff, clean rooms, and that breathtaking view.

The property works well for families, but the carpet in the rooms is old and grimy and should be removed. The check‑in and check‑out staff were noticeably lacking in friendliness—no smiles, nothing.

“Overall, stay was good. I would stay there again.”

Breakfast was solid and the location fit my purpose perfectly. However, the toilets need higher placement, softer paper, stronger shower water pressure, and the keycard system should be upgraded because I often struggled with the key and door handle together.
