The location was great and the breakfast was very good; the shower had plenty of water pressure, but there was a constant background noise that I couldn't identify—maybe a cooling unit or a ship in the harbor—though it was not disturbing; the thin walls were suboptimal.

The location was ideal and the staff and restaurant were great; nothing else really—just that the rooms were small, which is understandable.

The hotel is right next to the ferry, perfect for a quick departure; however, there was a used glass of red wine already in the wardrobe, and the front‑desk gentleman was not very warm.

The hotel’s proximity to the ferry terminal is convenient; nothing else stood out, although parking could become an issue when busy, but I found it acceptable.

The hotel is right next to the ferry in Tobart, which is small town. Everything in town is walkable, including the Isle of Harris Distillery which is a good place to visit. The room and bed were comfortable and smartly decorated. Dinner and breakfast in the restaurant downstairs were both excellent. Erica was our terrific server for dinner where we enjoyed delicious muscles in a coconut, red curry Thai-inspired broth which was perfectly seasoned.
