A super fun place to hang out! You’re really in a Sri Lankan village and see no other tourists. The owner takes you everywhere by tuk‑tuk. We stayed three nights with our 10‑ and 12‑year‑old kids and they loved it. The accommodation is basic, but it’s set in beautiful nature. We had a great time!

It’s a great place, especially if you want a quiet, nature‑close stay. There’s not much there, it’s very remote, but you can do great tours in the national park. Supun is a great host, he showed us a lot in the area. And his mother cooked delicious food for us.

It’s cozy staying with Supun. He and his family make sure your stay is as good as possible. Safari from the house in a beautiful yet quiet park. Close to the lake for swimming and fishing.

What an incredibly nice spot! The accommodation is in a beautiful setting, with a lake where you can take a refreshing dip. The owner is super friendly and takes good care of his guests. Whether it’s a safari in Wasgamuwa National Park or a tour of his village, he’s always ready to help. Thanks, Supun! We had a wonderful time.

The host and the location are fantastic—just outside Wasgamua National Park, surrounded by nature. Every morning we did birdwatching from the deck and could easily spot over 20 species in one sitting. The breakfasts were huge and delicious, prepared by the host’s mom. Supun, the host, has a keen eye for wildlife and took us on an evening half‑day safari where we saw elephants, jackals, and many birds; it was cheaper and better than any safari at a more popular park, and we only encountered two other jeeps the whole trip. He also led us on several walks that introduced us to families in the village, letting us experience Sri Lankan hospitality. The amenities are basic; if you’re particular about clean facilities, you might struggle here. Showers are cold but bearable, and because the stay is in the jungle, mosquitoes and bugs in the room are almost guaranteed, but the experience more than makes up these minor discomforts.
