The location couldn’t be better—superb for exploring the old City and enjoying the open‑air dining nooks and palazzos. It’s extraordinarily quiet, peaceful, off the beaten track yet right in the midst of all the pleasures of Palermo. The beds are great, the lights in the room are nice, and the room is comfortable. The views from the terrace were sweet. Franca was delightful and tried to be helpful. A map of the Kalso would have been a good addition just to help one get oriented and also to reduce dependency upon the ever‑present cell phone. Coffee was NOT good; they need to invest in a higher‑end machine. Breakfast was less than satisfactory. It would have been nice to be able to buy a bottle of wine so one could sit up on the terrace and watch the sunset with a glass of Palermo’s best.
