The rooms were nice and clean, but the single bedrooms lacked an iron and the mattresses were so uncomfortable that I didn’t get any sleep.

Withernsea is a great location and Withernsea Sands is a great park. No hot water or heating lasted the whole stay. It seemed the owners either knew (or should have known) the boiler was broken before we arrived, yet they didn’t fix it or offer alternative accommodation. The sheets—£60 extra on top of the booking—had obvious “personal stains,” which was gross. What could have been a nice stay in a decent caravan turned into a disappointing failure, with C2Holidays barely keeping up at every step to avoid offering alternative accommodation before we left. They later offered a 30% refund, which feels like corporate shenanigans to see how little they can get away with.
