There was plenty of space inside and out, which was great, especially for a week‑long stay like ours. The view of the waterfalls and the sea was spectacular, though a new house is being built next to the property that might slightly reduce the view in the future. The beds were comfortable, though I would have liked a blanket per person. The kitchen was well equipped for self‑catering. The hosts—George, Jennifer, Carlos, Alexandra—were very friendly, thanks for everything! We had no complaints, just a few small improvements: the front door sits on the floor in one spot, causing a loud squeak; a fly screen in the bathroom and one of the other windows would be great—at night we like to keep a window open, but a single mosquito can ruin the night; there were too many pieces of furniture; we could have done without two dining chairs and the large wooden chair, as they were more in the way. More storage space in the bathroom would have been welcome.

“Top-Unterkunft”

Lage: Das Haus hat eine traumhafte Lage in der Faja Grane auf Flores in der Nähe des Strandes und der Wasserfälle. Fußläufig sind zwei Restaurants erreichbar. Parken: Es gibt genügend eigene Parkplätze direkt vor der Haustür. Zimmer: Wir hatten eines der Zimmer im ersten Stock mit Balkon und Blick auf die Wasserfälle. Diese Aussicht ist einfach traumhaft. Das Zimmer ist sehr groß und gemütlich eingerichtet. Das Bett ist ausreichend breit und bequem. Empfang: Wir wurden von Carlos herzlich empfangen, obwohl unser Flug zu spät war und es schon später Abend war als wir angekommen sind. Er hat unser Gepäck aufs Zimmer gebracht und uns alles gezeigt. Gemeinschaftseinrichtungen: Das Haus verfügt über eine umfangreich ausgestattete Gemeinschaftsküche und einen Kühlschrank mit Getränken zur Selbstbedienung und Bezahlen bei der Abreise. Das fanden wir äußerst praktisch und hilfreich. Jeden früh wird frisches Brot bereitgestellt. Hinter dem Haus gibt es eine große Terrasse mit Blick auf die Wasserfälle und einen Jacuzzi aus Holz, den wir aber nicht genutzt haben. Fazit: Eine Top-Unterkunft auf Flores, die wir jederzeit wieder buchen würden. Ein klare Empfehlung. Der Umgang mit den Polstern in den Außenbereichen muss verbessert werden. Diese waren ständig nass und so konnte der Balkon auch nicht wirklich genutzt wwerden. Der Inhaber hat aber zugesagt, dies im nächsten Jahr zu ändern

Cleanliness was perfect, the kitchen was great, the view was stunning, the hot tub was nice, and it was close to the sea.
