I liked that the hotel was in a great spot and checking in was a breeze, plus parking was easy. However, my room felt pretty old-fashioned and I was surprised there wasn't a dishwasher - that would've been super handy.

Kihei Akahi is situated across from Kamaole Beach State Park II, offering apartments with full kitchens and private terraces. Two outdoor swimming pools, a tennis court, and BBQ facilities are available. Each apartment features a cable TV, ceiling fans, in-room safe, washing machine, and dryer. Wailea is 10 minutes away, and Kahului International Airport is 30 minutes away.

The hotel's location and amenities were really top of the line, and I loved my stay - but there was one major disappointment. The Keurig was broken, and they didn't have any coffee available, which was a real bummer. Still, it was a great stay overall.

I had a pretty good stay here, the location is super convenient and my room was clean. The amenities were really handy too. My only issue was that the air conditioning didn't quite make it to my bedroom, so it got a bit warm.

I was looking for a place that could fit my group and the hotel's self-contained units worked out well for us. However, the rooms were a bit of a letdown - some were really nicely done, while others felt old and worn out. It was kinda hit or miss.

I'm really glad I chose this hotel - it's right by the beach, which was a major plus for me. Everything was great, no issues at all.
