The location is good; within a 2‑kilometre walk you find the train station, the subway, the Cathedral of Ascension, the Museum of Applied Arts, three or four popular restaurants, anjir, pro.khinkali, and bon. The facilities are average but the cleanliness is excellent. The hot water is a bit slow and you have to wait a while, but the room is warm. The owner is friendly and even provided toothbrushes, and the wifi speed is decent. The room was on the roadside. I stayed two nights; mid‑week evenings were fine, but on Friday night there was a bar or something that was as loud as a high‑energy drink and kept me up until 2 a.m. Overall, the price matches typical Tashkent accommodation.

If you booked the room described on Booking, it’s great. It’s located in a small courtyard behind the main building, a studio‑like space with a fairly modern bathroom. The mattresses are comfortable. There’s a small table and chairs in the courtyard (nice for tea in the morning or evening) and a shared kitchen attached to the room (fridge, microwave, etc.). The metro is a 15‑minute walk, which is fine. There are convenience stores in the area and a few restaurants. Very quiet. The man at the front desk is always there and ready to help or give information. He booked our 6 a.m. departure taxi. Because we arrived late (10 p.m.) due to train schedules (but we had informed them), we spent our first night (of three) in a room in the main building, which is not the same! Not a big deal, but good to know.
