Zensus Eco Boutique Hotel

I was drawn to the small, lush park tucked inside a jungle garden, and the decor was tasteful. The quiet surroundings were a bonus, especially since I could park my car on private property. Breakfast was excellent, with a menu offering a variety of dishes to choose from. The owner and his wife were very welcoming and helpful. However, a fridge in the cabin would have been a useful addition, which we missed. Walking to the center of Bacalar took about half an hour, which was fine during the day, but it wasn’t pleasant to walk there at night in the dark.

The staff were friendly and kind, and the breakfast was outstanding. The bungalow area was great.

Breakfast was delicious, varied and generous, with pleasant staff, and the setting was just fantastic. The only thing that could improve is a small fridge, but overall it was a minor detail.

“Schnuckelige Anlage”

The jungle bungalows with a little refreshing pool were great, and the breakfast menu offered tasty options. Jorge, who speaks English, gave excellent advice on excursions, making us feel comfortable. The bungalows could use more storage for wet items or towels, and there is no safe or minibar in the rooms (you can store stuff at reception). The seating set outside the bungalow was a bit old and rusty, and the broken, rusted loungers by the pool should be replaced.

“Parfait pour visiter Bacalar et la lagune des sept couleurs”

A very beautiful spot; the lodges are separate, surrounded by tropical foliage, and very quiet. The pool is lovely, breakfast is excellent, and the staff are welcoming, attentive, and smiling – all in all, wonderful moments.
