“Fishing trip stopover.”
The bed and the location were nice. The rooms had no windows, just a Velux that let in no light, and the language barrier was an issue.

The host’s welcome, the friendliness of her dogs and cat, and the calm and silence of the place were all positive. The access to the floor was via a steep staircase, there was no breakfast offered, and the guesthouse is quite isolated.

The hostess’s welcome was excellent, the place was particularly calm, the environment very pleasant and exotic. The only negative was plant debris on one of the beds due to a slightly open Velux that was hard to reach.

The old house was pretty with a spacious room and comfortable bedding. We didn’t realize the bathroom was shared and the toilets were inside it, so it wasn’t very convenient… The room is large but lacks essentials: no wardrobe, no hangers, and no mirror, so when the bathroom is occupied we can’t get ready. Also the blinds in our room were broken, so we had no natural light at all. The staircase to the upper floor is really hard, especially with a suitcase, almost dangerous… In short, we were overall disappointed.

The location, nature, and welcome were all good. The listing was vague (e.g., shared bathroom) and the staircase was very steep.
