Breakfast was basic for a 2‑star hotel; we got a room with views of both the mountains and the city, plus a large terrace. The floor was a park‑style parquet with a modern ceiling fan and various lighting options. The shower was a walk‑in tub, and the bath had shower gel and towel service. In the room you find two small water bottles, two welcome biscuits, a mini fridge, a kettle with utensils and teas, and sugar for hot drinks. I liked that they charge €200 if you smoke in the room, and if you can’t find parking outside, they offer a private parking lot behind the hotel. The mattress was very thin and you can feel the tapiflex board; the shower gel dispenser is stuck to the intercom stand and doesn’t lift, making it hard to wash your hair comfortably. The lady refilling the buffet made us nervous, as if we were being watched. And because there’s no elevator, you really have to think twice before going up three floors.
