The location was easy to park and still fairly close to the town; a 1 km walking path leads to the town, though it’s a bit of a climb. Cycling is also convenient. The room was tidy, with a seating area, a clean shower and toilet, and the host offered to carry our luggage up the stairs. There were enough towels and a cleaning on the second day. Overall, very good. The breakfast was a bit pricey at €15 per person per day, but otherwise nothing else.

This charming inn is just minutes from Rothenburg. Thomas gave us exceptional care. We loved his family‑owned inn and look forward to returning someday! If you want a quiet stay yet still be close to all the action in Rothenburg, this is exactly where you need to stay.
