The photos were accurate, and the gated patio looked nice. However, the internet didn’t work, and when I reported it, the hosts denied any issue. The reception desk was empty when I needed assistance, and they requested a 50 MYR deposit but no one was there to return it when I checked out.

The place is clean and quiet. The problem is that there is never anyone at the frontera desk, which is crucial when you have reservations with set schedules.

The room was basic yet spacious and spotless. However, the staff were rude during checkout; a day before our departure the shower in our bathroom broke, and the man from staff told us he couldn’t fix it and didn’t even offer an alternative bathroom or shower. Later, we were charged for the broken shower even though it had already been broken and only glued together (the man confirmed this), and the showerhead snapped when we turned the water on. The lady laughed at us and blamed us for breaking it. This was the first time in Malaysia I felt treated like that, which was truly disappointing. The bed was very hard, and while the location was quiet, we had to grab a taxi to reach the jetty or restaurants.
