The house itself is fine – the kitchen comes with all the necessary utensils, the bathroom is decent, the dining area works well, and the double‑bedroom has an incredibly comfortable mattress, although the twin‑bedroom’s spring mattresses aren’t as good. The indoor temperature stayed pleasant despite the heat outside, and the lack of mobile coverage in the village (only available on the outskirts) actually helped me disconnect, which I appreciated; it’s a plus for anyone seeking peace and quiet. The cleaning was a bit skimpy – not filthy, but on the second day I swept up a lot of hair, found hair on the chairs and in corners that need a deeper clean now and then to prevent dust and lint buildup. Being a mountain village house, I understand it won’t be as spotless as a hotel. The winding road to the village was the worst part for me: about half an hour of curves that made me feel nauseous, and the nearest charter was also half an hour away in Ademuz, so the drive felt longer than the 30 minutes it actually took. Despite all that, we felt very comfortable overall.
