“Perfectly OK in most respects.”
The room was clean and fairly spacious, and its spot right across from the opera house let me hit most of the main sights and a few solid restaurants like La Fata Ignorante; a short walk also takes you to La Repubblica metro station. On the downside, the shower area was tiny and there were no power outlets by the bedside.
In the scorching summer, the room had air conditioning, was gorgeous, and close to the train station—definitely the best apartment we stayed in Italy. The narrow alley outside was full of charming little shops, so overall it’s worth recommending!
“Per chi non vuole allontanarsi tanto dalla stazione (o semplicemente vuole andare al teatro dell’opera come nel mio caso”

“Loved our central location for a one night visit to Rome”
The central spot was spot‑on for a single night in Rome, especially since the train station was within easy walking distance; the staff responded quickly to messages and were friendly when we met them the next morning. The lift, while handy for heavy luggage, had an old‑school feel that made it a talking point.
“Maravilhoso!”
The location is superb, just off Via Nazionale with bus stops that make getting around easy and plenty of spots for breakfast. The only downside was the air‑conditioner: we couldn’t change its temperature or fan speed; it stayed at 21 °C with the same mode and ventilation, but it didn’t ruin our stay.
