“Bonne halte sur le Chemin de Saint Jacques”
The welcome was friendly and the setting is gorgeous, though the bathroom ventilation feels a bit weak.

The reception was warm and the place radiates spirituality, offering plenty of peace.

The historic building and the receptionist’s greeting were nice, but the split between pilgrims and hotel guests left us dining alone; we had expected to share meals with others in that unique setting, which the arrangement didn’t allow, especially after a week of walking the Célé trail in hostels.

I didn’t see anyone.

The staff were very welcoming, the room was spotless along with all common areas, and meals and breakfast were good—thanks to Joël and Geneviève who were there that Sunday. The price for the meal was 16 € for pilgrims, a bit pricey for soup, pasta with meat, and a Nova yogurt. The cook who brought us the dishes wasn’t very friendly; it was a Sunday evening with possibly few staff, but that’s not an excuse.
