“Good situation for train and city, comfortable and felt safe.”
We were just a stone’s throw from the train station and bus stops, and a twenty‑minute walk to the Colosseum. A small terrace outside was nice, and our room stayed quiet. The city had a power outage, so heating stopped, but the owner answered right away, explained how to switch it back on, and would have come if we couldn’t fix it ourselves. A supermarket was nearby, and next time we’ll try the food at the railway station—it looked great. The owner was very helpful. Having a kitchen with a table, chairs, and a little garden terrace was a bonus, and the air conditioning worked well. Some handles were wobbly and the pans could use a refresh. The breakfast ticket that came with the mini‑flat was for a pastry and coffee at a friendly café nearby, so we ended up buying milk and cereal. The buildings have graffiti outside, but don’t let that deter you; the city has a lot of it, not just around the accommodation.
