I booked a double room but was handed a twin instead, and the window that faces the main road into Hull had no curtains at all. Breakfast wasn’t available, and there was no coffee in the room. The TV was dead, so I had to call an inside workman to fix it. The staff apologized, let me check out late without charging extra, and handed me a free drink. I’ll come back once the refurbishment is finished and they add nets to the windows.

The bed was comfortable, but it was cold! One tiny radiator on the bathroom wall was definitely not enough, especially at this time of year.

The location is great, the staff are friendly and helpful, the rooms are clean, and parking is available. Everything else was fine.

The rooms were clean, modern, and quiet, and the bathroom and shower were especially good. The bed was only moderately comfortable, suitable for one or two nights of sleep, which works well for a work trip. The breakfast to go was disappointing, mostly processed sweet snacks.
