The accommodation is in a secure old apartment building accessed from the street by a code and is within walking distance to main attractions. The room was quite dark with the only light coming from the glass balcony doors. The breakfast was fresh but limited. A toaster would be a useful addition.

The location is great for getting around Rome—two blocks from the Trevi fountain and many other sites, with plenty of restaurants within walking distance, one right next door. It’s very close to a supermarket if you forget something at home; that supermarket has a deli in the back for a quick bite. A coffee bar is within walking distance, and bus and taxi stops are near the main street. The room was very quiet; we didn’t hear any street noise. The building has an elevator to the third floor, but there are about 12 steps to reach it. There is a lift machine, but I couldn’t figure out how to use it, so we had to carry our heavy suitcases up the stairs. We made it work.

The location is perfect for the Trevi fountain and the main shopping area. The place is very clean and modern.
