The breakfast was decent and plenty, mainly eggs cooked in various ways, cheese, and ham; at one point there were more meat options, but that seemed to be because more guests were staying. Butter for bread was missing, jam appeared only in a small bowl, and I also missed yogurt or quark, muesli, and fruit pieces. The bread varied each time—sometimes thick, crumbly slices of homemade white/gray bread, other times rolls in different shapes. Dinner, which we enjoyed almost daily during our stay, was well received; we tried several dishes. Regarding the room, it would be handy to have bedside lamps, and we appreciated the option to brew our own tea. The air‑conditioning works well and quietly, and you can request fresh towels at any time. If you need an early breakfast, you can ask for it and it will be placed in the fridge for you—great. The staff are very attentive and helpful. The only downside is the breakfast, which may not be the main meal in Slovakia; the surroundings don’t really invite walking, and there are no shops nearby. Bratislava is easily reachable in a short time by car; I wouldn’t risk public transport.
