“Great location and clean/comfortable rooms”
Rooms were very clean, functional and comfortable, the location was great and it was convenient for visiting Baden Baden and the Black Forest, the terrace was nice for drinks with lovely vineyard views, it was peaceful and parking was good, but the dinner menu was limited and the service was a bit chaotic at times, which didn’t bother us much while on holiday, and breakfast was average.

The location and room were good, parking in the hotel’s courtyard was quiet, breakfast was truly varied and made from fresh ingredients, but the dining services were not the hotel’s own and the Wiener schnitzel was awful – tough and tasteless.

We liked the hotel and especially the suite we booked, the staff were friendly but you feel a little lost, although the décor is very tasteful, it doesn’t give a sense of coziness, we actually wanted to dine at the restaurant that evening but since there were no other guests we didn’t want to eat alone in such a large restaurant and we’re not even sure if there would have been anything to eat at all, which is a shame; for such a well‑maintained house there were very few guests, which as food‑service people didn’t appeal to us.

The room and hotel were spotless, drinks were reasonably priced, the shower had good water pressure and the bed was comfortable, just a minor point – the restaurant was not open in the evening, but there were two very good ones a couple of minutes’ walk away.
