Jason and Debbie were excellent hosts who went above and beyond. The cakes that arrived in the room, the sausage rolls, and the breakfast were fantastic. Their local knowledge was superb and they are the nicest people I’ve ever met; they make Kensington a five‑star experience. Our room was a bit small, but that’s not something they can change, and if that’s the only issue, it shows how good this bed and breakfast is.

The location, the host’s hospitality, the food—Wow! The friendliness was so good, nothing was missing. Try the homemade cakes. The Michelin‑rated breakfast was spot on. Everything was perfect. I’ll be back.

Debbie and Jason were great hosts who did everything they could for us and knew all about Scarborough and its attractions. Unfortunately we booked a small room, which was fine for two nights, but the larger rooms looked much better.

We had a fantastic stay at The Kensington in Scarborough and would highly recommend it. Debbie and Jason were absolutely lovely—so friendly, welcoming, and genuinely did everything possible to ensure we enjoyed our visit. Nothing was too much trouble, and their warm hospitality made us feel completely at home. The breakfast was a real highlight—a delicious, freshly prepared home‑cooked spread with plenty of choice and clearly made with care. The Kensington’s location is great for exploring Scarborough, making it easy to get out and about and enjoy everything the town has to offer. A lovely place to stay with wonderful hosts, great food, and a welcoming atmosphere. We would definitely stay here again! Everything was great!
