We were very grateful to the owner for her kind hospitality; even though we didn’t speak the same language, she made an effort to communicate and thoughtfully coordinated our daily breakfast times. The breakfast was a simple, authentic Japanese style that felt warm and local. On the last day, because we had an early flight, she had already arranged a taxi to pick us up from the inn to the airport, which we truly appreciated. Before we left, the owner, the owner’s wife, and the dog all bowed several times to say goodbye, which warmed our hearts; we hope to stay again next time.

I stayed with my dog and the place was comfortable for that. The breakfast was tasty. No complaints.

This spot is close to the airport but a bit away from the city center, and that’s why I chose it: it sits in a quiet residential area and is near Shirahō Beach. Unfortunately, I didn’t get to enjoy the surroundings fully this time, but if you want to feel the exposed‑concrete design‑house vibe, it’s worth it. The owner’s breakfast was outstanding, and you can see the Milky Way from the courtyard.
