I enjoyed a very pleasant stay at this hotel in Mbarara. The staff were extremely kind, friendly, and helpful. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. I especially appreciated the quiet location, away from the noise and busy atmosphere of the city. A great place to relax and enjoy a peaceful stay. Highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Everything was quite good 👍

We had a lovely stopover here with Barbara and her team. We arrived hot and sweaty on our motorcycle and Barbara gave us an enormous warm welcome. We soon felt at home. The room was lovely, the parking was safe and they made us some lovely food. Everything was super

On our return from Bwindi to Entebbe, we chose Mbarara as a stopover and spent a night at the Occazia. The rooms are clean and very spacious. It is safely located and has a night watch. Directly next to the hotel is a mosque, which is not disturbing even with the window closed. You can choose from various breakfast options. In addition, we ordered a dinner from a diverse menu at good prices. The service is very attentive and super friendly.

Great location not far from the centre but mostly away from the noise and traffic. Attentive staff who will make you feel extremely welcome and can answer (and many times solve) any questions you may have regarding your travels in Uganda. Extremely safe with 24hr person on duty managing the gate. A good substantial breakfast in the morning with a wide selection of meals for lunch and dinner. The facilities are very pleasant and kept in a wonderful condition. I had a long stay here for work/study related purposes (6 weeks) and would happily return if I came back to Mbarara. WIFI can be weak at times Make meal reservations early as can be a little wait

I’ve been here twice and the second time was just as good as the first; the only thing I wish we’d paid a bit more for was Dstv with CNN or Sky News, and an evening coffee would have been a nice addition.
