In a green setting with a view of mountain ranges covered in firs, the Ziakos guesthouse offers generous hospitality, calm, rest, homemade traditional food from Mrs. Athina’s own hands, authentic Greek pure products, breakfast with fresh loukoumades drizzled with aromatic honey and cinnamon, continental pastries, and anything else you ask for. Mrs. Athina, Despoina, and Aphrodite always serve you with genuine joy, making you feel at home with beloved friends. Nothing here is typical or standardized. The whole family of the Ziakos guesthouse gives you what is slowly being lost. The feeling of Greek hospitality and human life. Thank you for the unforgettable experience you gave us. As for what you can do in the last village before the Albanian border… discover pure nature, springs of frozen clear water, stone bridges, river bathing, later spots to lie down and sleep on a mattress of birch leaves, under a green canopy of branches and leaves, listening to water rushing down the river. A difficult uphill bike route that could fit into the Greek Cycling Tour. Hiking in Kamenik. Naturally therapeutic baths with steam from the mountain. Visit the Monastery of Panagia in Sthio with a 5‑kilometer route either by the river or better yet from a difficult trail on the mountain. Bathing in Sarantaporo. Boat in Konitsa. The owner was very attentive. The room was fine and the breakfast was perfect, made by her at that very moment. I couldn't stand eating the loukoumades she brought.
