The reception by Ma was perfect. The pool is large in a big garden, not a cramped space in the middle of lunch tables for those who know the riads. I appreciated the calm and the quiet of the neighborhood. The house is very beautiful and richly decorated. I had a small house at the entrance of the domain with a private terrace. Serious ceramic pottery classes are not far. I didn’t have a car and the house is 7 km from the medina. You have to walk 1.5 km before finding the bus or the big taxis. The stop worked well, but for non‑adventurers it’s better to have a car.

Marie’s house was wonderful. We definitely had the best stay we could have hoped for. Marie was an exceptional host and took great care of us, even picking us up from the airport and driving us back at the end of our stay. We really enjoyed the delicious breakfast every morning, the beautiful swimming pool, and the peaceful atmosphere of the house. Everything was spotless, and the tranquility of the place made our stay even more special. Without a doubt, this is the place we will always choose whenever we visit Essaouira again. The cleanliness, the peaceful surroundings, and Marie’s outstanding hospitality were the highlights of our stay

“Wonderful oasis to recover just outside of the city”

What a delightful place to relax and enjoy, a bit outside Essaoeira but only a 15‑minute drive to the Medina. Marie and Naima took excellent care of us. The route was fine, with Airola wifi and a quick highway connection. The pool was great, and the wifi was stable enough for my webinar, which I really appreciated. Breakfast was superb too – the freshest bread, msemen, and Moroccan pancakes we’ve ever had! We could wash and hang our clothes on the huge root terrace, drying in an hour under the sun and wind for a very reasonable fee, thank you! We were allowed to stay past checkout, which made the experience even better for exploring Essaoeira and its surroundings. Definitely recommend it – just bring your toiletries like shampoo 💫. Honestly, nothing negative, except that it’s on a small unpaved road, like the rest of Morocco, so drive carefully to avoid kicking up dust for the village folks 💫. Also bring a sleep mask because our room was quite bright.
