The couple was adorable. They offered tea and a welcome cake. We arrived late and left early, but they did everything to give us time to see the waterfalls 15 minutes on foot. The next day they fetched our train tickets and took us for free. The Tamil breakfast, dahl, noodle galette, banana, and their tea are all excellent.

Everything was perfect for us. The lovely couple made us feel at home, and tea with biscuits upon arrival was so nice after a long travel day. The bed was very comfortable, the shower was good, and the area is quiet yet close to the train station. Thank you so much.

A lovely accommodation for catching the tea train from Nanu Oya. The owner couple provide thoughtful service; at arrival they offered a pot of Ceylon tea with cake, a generous dinner, and a Sri Lankan breakfast. The owner secured tickets early in the morning, provided shuttle to the station, and let us go straight to the platform without waiting in line. Many thanks to the owners for everything.

The location was close to the station, just a 10‑minute walk! The welcome was very warm (tea with four quarters offered on arrival) and you could order dinner on site (kottu was excellent!). The humidity in the accommodation was a problem.

A warm welcome with cake and tea set the tone, and the meal was delicious; the staff went above and beyond to help plan the rest of our trip. Thanks for everything 🙏🏼
