I stay here often because the restaurant and staff are superb, but I was assigned a disability‑access room that lacked a bath, which I wasn’t told about; the TV was broken, and when I checked out the staff’s reply was simply “we will look into it.”

The bed was large and comfortable, the Wi‑Fi worked, the rooms were spacious, and the view from the lounge windows was nice; the waitress was very pleasant. However, the lounge carpet had blood stains, the balcony was muddy and wet when we opened the double doors, there was no heating so it was cold, no extra blankets were available, the sofa in the lounge was dirty and had to be washed or replaced, and there was black hair all over the dining table. I paid 100 for one night but it definitely felt like 215.

The spot was solid and the hotel could have been gorgeous, but the two single beds shoved together made for a nasty 'double-bed'. The room felt ancient and dim, with furniture that clearly needed a refresh, and the lighting was awful. The door lock failed, the fridge was oddly perched under the TV, and the hairdryer was stuck in a random wall drawer, making it hard to reach. The shower seemed to flip from boiling to freezing in ten seconds, a real headache. Breakfast was greasy and subpar. I travel a lot for work and know everyone has different tastes, so this is just my take.
