The location was fine, and the drive into town was quick. The place is definitely rustic, essentially renting a single room in a guy’s house. The older home had many spiders—several half‑hand‑size ones in the common area and bathroom—so it’s not suitable for arachnophobes. The whole house carried a wood‑smoke odor.

The owner and other guests were all warm and made me feel comfortable; it’s a lovely guesthouse that I’d love to return to.

The place was decent overall, with a cozy vibe and good value for the price. The owner was especially friendly and welcoming, which really lifted the experience, though there’s still room to improve. The only downside was that the road to the facility was too narrow.
