“Una piacevole scoperta”

Struttura nuova e pulitissima, perfettamente insonorizzata e con tutti i comfort che ci si aspetta per un b&b, con balconcino. Il gestore Salvatore simpaticissimo ci ha assistiti dall'inizio alla fine del soggiorno, fino ad accompagnarci con i bagagli al parcheggio dell'auto la mattina della partenza e offrendoci una colazione extra in uno dei bar più buoni della zona. Posizione tranquilla e strategica a due passi dalla stazione per chi arriva in treno o pullman o per chi parcheggia la macchina a piazza Nazionale dove c'è il Quick parking il più economico e sicuro della città. Per andare in centro devi camminare un pochino (15-20 minuti), oppure con i mezzi pubblici. Si trova di fronte alla pizzeria Pellone che è una delle più buone di Napoli. Lieti di aver scoperto questa struttura che sceglieremo sicuramente per futuri soggiorni. A brand-new, spotlessly clean property, perfectly soundproofed and equipped with all the comforts one expects from a B&B, with a small balcony. The host, Salvatore, was incredibly kind and helpful throughout our entire stay—he even assisted us with our luggage to the car park on the morning of our departure and treated us to an extra breakfast at one of the best cafés in the area. The location is quiet yet strategic, just a stone's throw from the train and bus station, and conveniently close to the "Quick" parking facility at Piazza Nazionale—the most affordable and secure parking option in the city. Getting to the city center requires a short walk (15–20 minutes) or a quick trip via public transport. The B&B is located right across from Pizzeria Pellone, one of the best pizzerias in Naples. We are delighted to have discovered this place and will certainly choose it again for future visits. Tutto perfetto

Close to the station, the room was clean and overall quiet. There was also a kitchen, though I didn’t see what it offered since I didn’t need it. The host was very kind and let us leave our luggage at the property even after check‑out. Payment was in cash, and at first the host didn’t respond right away, but later she answered requests normally.

My experience with this property was terrible from the start, marked by a complete lack of professionalism. I tried several times to contact them via message and email for simple information but never received a reply, so after several days I had to call myself. I had a specific urgency and asked if I could have the room at 11:30, clearly explaining that I had an important medical appointment at 13:00 about 40–45 minutes away by metro. The owner kept responding vaguely, saying he would let me know. On the day of arrival I waited in vain for a call until 11:05, then had to call him again. When I arrived at the gate at 11:30, the front‑desk lady, very polite, told me the instructions were only to leave my luggage in a locker. The owner didn’t appear until about 12:30 after another of my calls. During the calls he repeatedly said in an entirely inappropriate way that the room was comparable to a 5‑star hotel and that the price I paid on Booking was very low. When I was asked to pay in cash, even though I usually pay by card, he asked for an amount that I handed over immediately, only to realize later that I had been charged 5.50 € extra. When I pointed out the difference over the phone, he even sent me a screenshot that had nothing to do with my booking. To get the receipt I had to ask explicitly and have it placed under the door; when I checked it, the sequential number was missing and the total amount was listed without separating the tourist tax. It’s not a matter of 6 €; it’s deep dishonesty, lack of transparency, and absolute disrespect toward the customer. I am posting photos.

The location near the train and bus station is good, but I felt instantly uncomfortable when the owner Salvatore stayed in my room to handle the cash payment after showing me around; I stayed at the door to signal my unease, yet the reception was right outside my bedroom so there was no excuse for handling business inside the room. Salvatore kept staying in my room to communicate via Google Translate, made me see the rules on the bathroom wall, and insisted on me entering the bathroom with him, which I didn’t like because the door had to be closed to look at the rules. This was unprofessional to be in a small bathroom with a guest. He then removed extra towels from me, leaving me without a bath mat, and demanded 5 euro for the two towels, claiming women need extra towels for safety, but I refused to pay extra since I was the only guest and there was no towel shortage. He also claimed I owed him extra money for the tourist tax even though my fixed price already included it, and I stood my ground that I wouldn’t pay extra, as it seemed corrupt. He said he would leave the 2.50 he owed me in my room the next day, but I told him to leave it at reception; he actually had 2 euro in his pocket and gave it to me after saying this, which I didn’t like because it seemed he was trying to find an excuse to enter my room again the next day. I travel solo a lot and have faced similar situations, so I felt he behaved this way because I was a solo female staying there.

The location is good, but the lack of cleanliness was an issue: there were hairs in the shower and on the bed.
