“Real shame, such comfortable accommodation but dreadful bar & restaurant .”
Lovely spot, spacious rooms and bathrooms that are truly comfortable. Modern and clean, very dog‑friendly and safe, with friendly owners. The bar and restaurant were awful—dark, dull, empty, lacking atmosphere, and the food was mediocre. Wine selection was poor, no coolers were provided or even available; we had to dig ice from a chest freezer in a back storage room. It closed very early, like something from the “dark ages.” In the room, there was only one standard teabag and meager amounts of sugar and milk—just enough for one mug per person.

Nice large bedroom with a spacious bathroom and shower, plus a big smart TV. The limited evening meal was good quality and freshly cooked, as was breakfast. Could use new carpet in the breakfast room!

The place is quite clean, the menu is fairly limited but the quality is good, and the bar could use more selections; the only downside was dog hairs!!
