Very good location, very clean, friendly staff. The coffee at the breakfast table was a disaster.

The staff were kind. The breakfast offered a good variety and quality (exceptional fruit salad). The lake view from the room, everything very clean. The room, though spacious, had a “basic” décor. The blanket/bedspread, while clean, was all polka‑dots. There was always a strong, persistent scent in the room. The bathroom was disproportionately small compared to the room’s empty spaces. I also found it unpleasant to have to communicate at 10 pm, tired from the trip, that I would use the next‑day breakfast and have to pay for it then instead of calmly at checkout. Likewise the next morning I found the reception staff’s reply unhelpful when I was surprised there was no complimentary water in a 4‑star, they said there was tap water. I expressed both concerns directly at the hotel.

“Nice hotel, very clean and friendly staff.”

The location is quiet, a short walk to the centre for restaurants, very clean, rooms spacious, staff friendly, good value for money. My only disappointment was that my balcony room faced the back lane; the booking said internal courtyard, which I thought was the pool area rather than a lake view. No upgrades were available. The lane was a bit noisy at times with staff collecting bins, and there weren’t enough sockets in the room—only one beside the bed and one in the toilet.

The breakfast was excellent and plentiful, but the spa’s relaxation beds were wet and unusable; a background soundtrack and a tea corner would have made that hour more enjoyable, and there were mosquitoes in the garden.
