The accommodation was excellent, lovingly and stylishly made; the beds were soft and you could sink into them like a canopy bed, which helped my husband’s back pain disappear. Breakfast was home‑style and not included, which is cheaper elsewhere; the pancakes were tasty. The long, beautiful sandy beach in front of the door was unfortunately without a toilet or shower, but you could use your own shower just a few meters away. Everything else was great. The coffee was too thin, but I could have mentioned it; home‑style food isn’t really my thing.

The location was fine. The shower didn’t drain, the TV didn’t work, and the staff showed no interest in fixing the problems, acting as if they already knew what was wrong at home! I asked to change rooms but was denied.

The spot was spot on – just 20 yards from a safe, sandy beach. I stayed in the top‑floor apartment that had all the self‑catering gear, even a kettle which was handy for us Brits. The air‑con was spot on, the bed was wide and comfy, and the terrace gave a great view of the bay. It was super quiet and there was a small restaurant that sold food all day. The only hiccup was that the gas cylinder for the cooker was empty when we got there – the owner couldn’t get a replacement on Sunday, so we couldn’t cook for two days, but he fixed it on Monday as promised. We also thought the hotel had booked a hire car for us, but there was a mix‑up; they sorted it out later, which was helpful.

I had a very pleasant stay at Hotel Tabby! The place was cozy, with a calm atmosphere and a fantastic location for exploring Golfo Aranci and its surroundings. I especially appreciated the friendliness and hospitality, which made the experience even better.

The entrance design was particularly charming, and the short walk to the sea – or even the sea view – was lovely. It was very clean. The first breakfast was a bit off because there was no buffet; you had to try everything. A bit more variety would be nice. The bed was too soft.
